MANDATED CLOSURE

December 23rd 2021

In accordance with the Dec 22nd restrictions we will be closed from Dec 23rd - Jan 18th. We're not sure what the New Year will look like yet and this definitely wasn't how we were hoping to kick off 2022 but it is what it is. We look forward to when we are able to reopen and see you all again!❤

Take advantage of our reduced rates_edit

IMPORTANT PRICING INFORMATION

September 29th 2021

It's extremely important to us to make classes as financially  accessible as possible. That's why at the beginning of the pandemic we reduced the rates of our private classes to that of our public classes. Considering we were mostly only able to hold private bookings anyways it felt like the right thing to do.
However now that we're slowly starting to get back into the swing of things it's time for us to bring back both types of bookings!
At the start of 2022 we'll be reverting back to our pre-pandemic pricing structure. Where we have public and private classes with their own rates.
If you prefer private classes now is the time to get in to the studio! You have 3 WHOLE MONTHS to continue to take advantage of our reduced private booking pricing!
In the new year:
~We will be offering private AND public classes, each with their own rates.
~Punch passes and memberships will return to being used for public classes only (not private bookings)
~Intro to Pole will be returning with it's reduced rate for first timers
If you have any questions feel free to reach out!📨
Subject to change depending on where we are at come the new year. However this is the intended plan moving forward.

NEW SPACE UPDATE

February 26th 2021

Renos are complete! But there's still something missing....

In true pandemic fashion things continue to go askew. But I wanted to give you all the low down on what's going on since you haven't had an update in awhile.

So here's where we're at:

Renos wrapped

Inspection passed

License & insurance switched over

A burning desire to get back in the studio

Bringing us to poles. Since the 2020 vibe has decided to follow us into the new year we coincidentally ended up doing renos (and needing to order equipment) at the same time our pole provider had their warehouse shutdown as they were waiting on restocks. Maybe some poor planning on our part, but who could have foreseen it? Making it impossible for us to get our equipment. Until now, they just started shipping again and have been flooded with calls and emails. However we've been in contact with them and will hopefully see our poles shipped out very soon! They're gonna be so tall!

In the mean time, we are working to get virtual classes up and running to hold those of you over until we can do in person classes again. More info on that coming in a few days. We are currently waiting on our internet provider to get us connected, but should be on the interwebs shortly!

As always thank you for all your support through this transition, your patience while we get set up, and your continued patronage when we open our doors again!♡ This wouldn't be possible without all of you and your desire to have a pole community♡♡♡

Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates!

CLOSED UNTIL THE NEW YEAR

December 15, 2020

That's it! We are officially closed for sessions until the new year when we have moved into our new space!✨

This is a bittersweet moment. This is the building I first learned to pole in. It felt so comforting to start my business in the same space. The familiarity and the reminder of what first sparked my love of pole.

I am forever grateful to Maryann of @fitbox.castlegar for giving me the opportunity to kickstart my dream by providing a location for me to teach and being not only a fellow entrepreneur but a friend. And massive thanks go out to @deeds.dh for connecting me with Maryann and pushing me to begin this journey ❤

What started as setting up and taking down poles for every class in an already busy gym, to having my own room is now taking another step forward into a new space.

I want to say a massive thank you to absolutely everyone who was able to make it out to a class (or 10😉) in the last 2 years of business. You've inspired me, helped me grow and reminded me why I started in the first place. I can't wait to share the next chapter of Mountain Valley Pole Fitness with you.

This year has been nothing anyone could have expected and yet here we are, still standing. Looking forward to walking into 2021 with you all. Stay safe and take care of eachother♡

COVID-19 UPDATE
STUDIO CLOSURE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

March 17, 2020

This has been a very difficult decision to make. As a small business owner and as someone who is immunocompromised. There have been many things to take into consideration. On one hand, Mountain Valley Pole Fitness is a one woman show. It is my full time job, there is no back up. On the other hand, my health and the health of my clients as well as the general public is invaluable. And is of the utmost importance. After all, if we don't have our health what do we have.

The situation surrounding COVID-19 has been rapidly evolving. Particularly the last 24 hours. Taking into account recent updates made to the public I have decided to temporarily close Mountain Valley Pole Fitness for the health and safety of clients and the general public alike.

We are tentatively planning on a 2 week closure, starting today (March 17th) through March 31st. We hope to resume classes April 1st. Please note this is subject to change depending on the situation regarding COVID-19. We will keep you updated with any changes.

During this time we ask you to give some love the people working at essential services. Those working at hospitals, pharmacies, and grocery stores just to name a few. Be kind, show gratitude and thank them for their hard work.♡

Keep an eye on our social media accounts for updates
https://www.facebook.com/mountainvalleypolefitness/
https://instagram.com/mountainvalleypolefitness?igshid=147kryincdbmc

Please read the entirety of this announcement as it contains pertinent information and will answer questions you may have.

In the meantime, while our studio is closed we will be practicing social distancing and self isolation whenever possible. We hope you are too if you are able.

Active Bookings / Memberships:

▪︎Any bookings you currently hold will be cancelled/postponed with no penalty to you.

▪︎If you currently hold a membership with us it will be put on hold. Any remaining classes you have will be usable once we open again and you will have 2 weeks (the same amount of time left in the month that we are closing for) to use them.

If you would like to continue to support us while the studio is closed here are a few available options:

▪︎ Purchase punchpasses and memberships to be used at a later date. Both private classes and memberships will be redeemable at a later date if bought now.

▪︎ Purchase gift certificates, or merchandise.

▪︎ Post in the group, keep in contact with one another, support each other. Make video call workout/pole dates.

In addition we are looking into the logistics of virtual classes and if they would be a viable option. Let us know if you would be interested in them should they become available.

Thank you all for your continued support through this trying time. Can't wait til we're back in the studio. Until then take care of yourself and check in on your friends, family and anyone who may need help during this time.♡

If you have any questions please contact us via email at mountainvalleypolefitness@gmail.com and we'll get back to you at our earliest convenience.
