COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The policies and procedures are non negotiable and are required in order to provide a safe environment for everyone in the studio and allow us to continue to serve you. These policies are to be followed in addition to our regular policies. Should there be conflicting policies covid-19 policies will supersede regular polices.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Occupancy​

  • As of Feb 17th 2022 we are able to return to full capacity from 3 people per class back to 6!

Bookings

  • Bookings are mandatory and must be made a minimum of 12 hours in advance

  • Classes will be available Monday through Friday

  • There will be a maximum of 4 classes a day to allow proper spacing for cleaning, sanitizing and drying the studio. Subject to change due to availability and interest.

  • To Book

Via Website – Select Online Booking tab, select your preferred booking option 

       Via Wix App – Select services tab, select your preferred booking option

  • Select your booking and complete the booking form.

  • All bookings are subject to be reviewed

Vaccine Passport

  • BC vaccine mandate goes in to effect September 13th 2021

  • Gyms, fitness facilities, studios, etc. fall under this mandate

  • Please have your proof of vaccination and ID ready at the beginning of your booking

  • High-intensity group exercise classes in the Interior are now permitted, provided all participants and instructors are fully vaccinated with two doses.

Before coming to the studio

  • ​Fill out our Covid-19 Health Declaration Form online (you will receive and email with the link) prior to showing up to class, this form MUST be filled out for each booking you make AND for each participant (if applicable)

  • Do NOT come if you are sick or required to self isolate due to potential exposure to COVID-19

  • Those exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and people who have come into contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be refused entry to the studio

  • You must reschedule/cancel you booking should you develop symptoms after making your booking

Arriving at Studio

  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes early

  • Please arrive prepared to begin class (wear your pole clothes in to the studio or underneath your clothing if possible)

  • Do not bring any unnecessary items into the studio. If you usually have a large gym bag try to downsize or just use a small bag for pole.

  • Wash/sanitize your hands upon entering the studio

  • Please stay in your designated area during class

Masks​

  • Masks are required at all times when not actively exercising .​ It is strongly encouraged that people wear a mask even when exercising

Payment

  • While we are still accepting all methods of payment, contactless payment methods are preferred.

  • If choosing to make your payment in person you must wash/sanitize your hands before and after payment.

Spotting

  • Spotting will only be done when absolutely necessary and if the participant is comfortable. 

  • In the event spotting is not an option, only visual and verbal feedback will be used. In addition poses/moves that require the student to be spotted will not be taught until spotting is an option/the participant is comfortable being spotted.

Leaving the Studio

  • Wipe down any equipment you have used during your session

  • Drop your used cloth into the marked bin and leave the spray bottle on the floor by the pole you used

  • Wash/sanitize your hands upon exit of studio

Cancellation Policy

  • Our cancellation policy remains in effect but may be subject to change

  • Do NOT attend class if you are sick, showing symptoms or have come into contact with someone who is sick

  • If you find yourself in one of the above circumstances you MUST cancel or reschedule your booking

  • If you are in one of the above circumstances and have not cancelled within the required time frame please contact us at mountainvalleypolefitness@gmail.com  so we can find you a solution

Covid-19 Pricing​

  • Onetime class purchases, 10 class punch passes and monthly memberships are still available

  • If you would like to tip to help us keep our doors open we greatly appreciate it and every bit helps.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

  • All high traffic areas will be cleaned / disinfected after every class (light switches, door handles, payment terminal, desk, and washroom)

  • Studio floors will be sanitized after every class

  • There will be a minimum of 15 minutes between classes to clean and allow surfaces to air dry naturally before use

  • Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available for student use

Equipment

  • All equipment will be cleaned/sanitized after use (pole, crash mat, etc.)

  • Zero exceptions for equipment sharing

  • For the time being we ask that you bring your own yoga mat from home if you are wanting to use one as our will not be used during this time

Merchandise

  • Merchandise is still available for purchase (and we’ve got lots!)

  • You will not be able to try on clothing, be sure to check with sizing charts before purchasing

Linens

  • Place used cloths and robes in the marked bin at the end of class

  • Cloths and robes are laundered after use

Washroom

  • Washroom will be cleaned and disinfected after every class

  • Washroom is well equipped with soap for hand washing

  • If washroom is in use come back to the studio to wait, do not wait in hallway

Signage

  • Please note and read the signage located upon entry to the building, in studio and in the washroom

Other

  • No eating/food allowed inside the studio, unless it’s a medical emergency

  • Bring your own water bottle and water

  • Any used tissues, disinfecting wipes, etc are to be placed in the lined waste bin

  • Clean your cell phone prior to using it in the studio, adhere to standard policies

  • Communal phone chargers will not be available for the time being

  • Avoid unnecessary touching of any other surfaces (wall, desk,  merchandise etc.)
